    Default Southern NH 'Sites'!

I went on a photo tour of some new areas this morning, around the towns of Milford, Wilton, Lydeborough and Hillsborough, NH. I've not really toured these areas, but they are quintessential New England Villages, surrounded by rolling hills and marked with a steepled church and meeting house.

I focused on streams, as that's what the light dictated...and we found some nice waterfalls.

I was particularly interested in the last shot, the stone arch bridge. More than a century and a half old...it stands up to traffic today with no mortar, just craftsmanship!

    Any Favorites????

My favorite, the Stone Arch Bridge! Fabulous shot Jim. It makes a great desktop background for this time of the year.

Jim, all very nice, no favorites. Excellent color and compositions. Maybe #2 is my favorite. I can hear the water and smell the autumn in all of them

Great shots Jim! I actually passed through that area on Thursday (based on your suggestion), but only found two of the stone bridges - one had been bypassed, the other had been "bolstered" by some crushed stone, and the light wasn't all that great. I did not come across the one in your pictures...
