There are some very nice ledges to the north which are a bit higher. Here's a view from there looking south, over the Boulder Loop ledges and on to Mt. Chocorua. I took this is winter on my way to West Moat Mtn. Of corse, John's probably been there.Originally Posted by NeoAkela
Lots and lots of off-trail perches and "Lost" Ledges in those parts, too!
Lower-elevation beech forest is stunning right now. "Peak foliage" is a loose term.
