Northern Taurid Meteor Shower

When I was trying to take pictures of meteors in August a few years ago, I didn't get anything on my regular film...then I flipped the colors around (regular to negative) and saw the streaks. It isn't pretty, but at least I knew I caught some

I was just reading about the Geminid Meteor Shower for this year, and according to this website, they may produce up to 100 meteors per hour. Hope for clear skies in your area.

Your welcome! According to Google's satellite and terrain map, the state park out there appears to be a good spot at around 2600' to watch a meteor shower. Post some photos if you decide to go and take photographs.
