    Red face mosquitos

    Hi there,

I'm new to the forum...and to Mount Washington also. I'll do my first hike on june 17th and I was wondering what are the "mosquitoes conditions" during this period.

I read about the Tukermans trail being close so I'll keep an eye on the forum since this was the route down we planned on taking.

    Thanks

i've never seen many bugs on the mountain, but I've only ever been up there in the rain and in the winter, so you might find some. explain "kilted hike"?

    Cool kilted hike

    a hike wearing a kilt.

Of course, I'll have pants and warm underwear in case it gets too cold...and I won't be "regimental"

If we're leaving at the same time....I'll let you go first mike.

And the "wee bairn" will be safe. Like I said, I won't be "regimental" (without underwear)
