Is there really any BAD weather???
Happy New Year to everyone too, be healthy and safe.
I am making a bunch of resolutions, let's see what happens....![]()
I made a few resoultions (some of which are the same as my hiking goals)
Mine are not major or profound, but I hope to stick to them:
1) Become more serious with my photography, either take a class, find a job in it, or just shoot more and see where it takes me.
2) Hike more. I have a few mountains I want to knock off: Katahdin in Maine; back to Washington (my love) to hike better, stronger (and to make it down in my feet!). Do more of the 48 4000'
3) Try vegan for 1 week, and actually stick to it!
4) Curb my spontanous spending (though with hiking more and photography, I may want new gadgets)
5) Cook more.
6) Kill the SAD forever.
Sorry, haven't had time, yet, for a list . . . maybe I'll dwell on that over a couple shots of scotch for New Years' Eve . . .
I'm sure any "resolution list" would include the hope and desire to return, once again, to the summit of Mt. Washington . . .
Happy New Year and "happy hiking" to all my "forum friends" . . .
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! Resolve to do something you don't want to do, so when you don't ,you don't feel bad about it ! Be safe everyone and we'll see you on the trails in '10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year to everyone on these forums, and to the hiking and Mt Washington community. May this year include many safe and beautiful hikes.![]()

Keep close to Nature's heart...
and break clear away, once in awhile,
and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods.
