    Beautiful!

Second shot...did you shoot after the boat seperated from the lighthouse? This would help the composition. It's still a very compelling image.

Nice Moon image! What's the lens?

    Thanks everybody.

Patrick. I used my 100-400L. I did get a couple after the boat had left the light house but I did not like how they came out.I did not use the tripod because I was driving by and seen the sailboat approaching the light house so I jumped out and tried to rest the camera on a fence but it was a bit windy so I moved and lost the shot (blurry)

    Smile Winter Wonderland

We went up to our friend Colleen's Place Conant Brook Farm in Monson,MA this weekend to celebrate our dog Nigel and his brother Linus 4th birthdays.

It's always beautiful hiking in the forest behind her home. But there's just something special about it after a fresh fallen snow.

Come into our little Winter Wonderland:

Nigel loves to be out in the snow.Even with those short little stubby legs he goes through it like a snowplow:

His beautiful Mom Iris also loves the snow:

And one final look for now at how beautiful Winter can be:

Hope you all enjoyed the journey.

Bob(SnowMiser),this one was especially for you.

Anna, Thank you very much! Your photos are beautiful. Nigel really looks like he's having a ball out there in the snow.
