    Default Winter pictures

With the recent snow storms we now have winter upon us. And Mt Washington is covered in white.

Here is a view of Mt Washington this morning from Bridgton, Maine.

I never want to see a day
    That's over forty degrees
    I'd rather have it thirty,
Twenty, ten, five and let it freeeeEEEEEEeeze!

We hiked back to HoJo's this morning. As the clouds came down the trees were coated in frost. It was really beautiful out there.

    Smile Winter Sunset

We had a pouring rainstorm here last night that washed away all of our beautiful snow.

For most of the morning it rained too.Cleaning up the yard wasn't accomplished until later on in the day.As I was picking up I noticed that the sun was setting and the sky was becoming an amazing array of colors with different cloud formations. The following pictures are what I was able to capture.

I won't even attempt to explain each picture.I'm sure someone on the forums will be able to tell us what different types of clouds we're looking at.

Hope you enjoy the sunset from our front yard:

As I returned to the backyard I saw the moon rising up over our elm tree:

Considering the wake-up weather this morning the ending sure was pretty.Winter can be very beautiful.

Hope I brought a little brightness into the end of everyone's Holiday weekend for them.Take care.
