Default Live Streaming from West Rattlesnake (hopefully)

I?m going snowshoeing today, hiking West Rattlesnake in Holderness, from the top it overlooks Squam Lake.

We have blue skies today, so the picture should be clear, provided I get cell reception

Looks like it was beautiful up there this morning. Haven't seen ustream before. Going to have to follow your adventures there and perhaps try it out myself.

The quality wasn't great and the streaming was a bit slow.

I only have an iPhone 3G which isn't supposed to be able to do video so I think they just screen capture the live camera view.

A friend of mine has the Verizon Android, and was streaming live from his car while driving in Tilton (which is now 3G territory) and the quality was great.

Unfortunately, most peaks will not have 3G or cell service in general

It was an awesome day though, my first snowshoe hike of the season. All of my elliptical exercise didn't pay off though, I was sucking wind. But I did it

Here's the test video that was transmitted.

I had the audio muted (my friend was on the phone) and it seemed faster, but when unmuted, I think audio gets the priority.

Good first attempt though, I'll have to research it more.
