I hope they still work next winter.

The 5-14 ObsCast was well conceived and well executed. Sometimes they're less than riveting or poorly lit, but this week they captured a mood and put it down in black and white. The penguin was a nice touch. I think Brent speaks for all the ski/board bums out there; did you see the sadness in his eyes?
What a weird place to store your cramp-ons though, in the ceiling tiles???

Is there really any BAD weather???
I can't get the obscast anymore. Can someone tell me what settings I need under internet options to allow me to view the obscast? I think they were changed somehow (little fingers?). Thanks!

The key is to make sure you are signed into the regular MWO site using the Account Login link at the upper right of every page. I just confirmed I can get at it with my settings.Originally Posted by Rich

Are you at the point where you see all the ObsCasts by date? Or can you not get logged in at all.Originally Posted by Rich
I can choose the obscast by date but, my desktop (xp) only plays audio and my laptop (vista) only shows that little picture or icon in the upper left corner and nothing else. The desktop always played them fine but the laptop has never been able to play them and it's only a few months old. That's why I was thinking it's a setting? Thanks, guys.Originally Posted by Bill O

You need Quicktime. It might try to play in Windows Media, but force it to use the latest version of Quicktime.
I have Quicktime on both computers. Obscast stopped working on one and on the other it won't run at all. That's why I was thinking it's a setting I need to change under Internet Options. I just don't know what should be set to allow what I need.Originally Posted by Bill O

Rich,
Make sure you are logged into your MWO account and then go to http://www.mountwashington.org/weath...rs/sunrise.mpg
This will bring the West camera sunrise video up in its own browser window. From there it is easy to File-Save As and see if you can run it off your hard disk. It will not work unless you have logged in first.
Then try right clicking on the ObsCast link to File-Save As and run that off your hard disk. If that works, then it may be a browser setting.
