If your not a OBS member yet then what are you waiting for
While the weather will be a key factor for this race since fog makes it hard to see a train but did any even look at the cog schedule? They are only running weekends until the 29th, so that makes most of these dates impossible from the get go. And worker trains won't be doing too much work up here until the ties thaw enought to work on them. And no worries about missing one today, we had 0 trains arrive on the summit. So the 15th at ~1130 am is the next best shot but looking at long term models...

Of course I looked at the Cog schedule first
Since the time has past for Act II submissions: Good luck

Charlie,
You seem to already have a submission. And your request was after the cut-off time. So, "Sorry Charlie".
With the warm weather we have been having, several of us were hoping to see the work crews up there in the North camera. And by having this contest, we all learn more about what happens and how things get done. The is an educational experience.

I failed to take into account exactly how small the chance may be to capture the train on the North Cam - but I will be ready for next year! Good luck to all and congrats to the eventual winner!
