It now turns out Charlie and I are planning on driving up the Auto Road on Monday as far as we can go - and that is my date. So, if I can get the cog to stop right at the correct spot where the camera can see it . . .

Or we got to the end of Thursday and we are all skunked again.

    Hi Brad -
Good luck with stopping the Cog in the right place/at the right time on Monday. Hope you and Charlie have a great time, no matter how far up the road you get .
Sorry about this but, I think there might be an ACT III coming soon to a forum near you and me (perhaps this forum ), or we'll all have to admit the Fog, Clouds, Iced up North View window and Cog stumped us all.

I'm out. It was too cloudy to see a train even if one did go up. Good luck to everyone else. Brad and Charlie, I hope you can hold up one on Monday long enough for the webcam to take a shot.

I never want to see a day
    That's over forty degrees

    Good luck Brad and Charlie.

If you do get to stop the train Charlie just don't scare them with that bandana over your face. They may think they're being hijacked!!!

Ok - assuming Act II is a skunk session, let's start picking our dates for ACT III. Selections (notice I do not say guesses) must be in by 9:00 PM EDT Tuesday. Act II remaining dates are still valid. So, ACT III dates MUST start after ACT II dates with the first possible Act III date being May 21st.

It is too bad Charlie will be too busy tomorrow to enjoy his victory - if it happens. He will be cooking ribs for our Dock Party lunch. He is driving up from PA now and Chris B from South Dartmouth, Mass will meet up with him. They are coming to join in on the fun of us putting the docks in to kick off the summer.

You can join and watch by checking out the lake web camera at http://longlake.homeip.net:8003 - but, you must use Internet Explorer. Accept the ActiveX controls that get downloaded off the camera. The party is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM EDT Sunday.
