This trillium is a transplant from a friends property (with their permission, of course)back home in Coos County. I am glad to say that down here it survived last years transplant and is now flowering. I did do the responsible thing and make sure with a biologist that they can be found in the area, at least at one time they were far nmore abundant in these parts of PA.

Below is a snapshot of what I think is Goldthread.

It was seen on 05-May at about 1,500 ft. elevation on the west side of the Crawford Notch, about a mile south of Mt. Willard.
