Foxes

I was talking on the cell phone parked beside the road and about 20 feet away a beautiful fox walked by. The fact the car was running did not seem to bother her. I watched as she hunted in the tall grass. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me!

So, I went home, got the camera, went back and asked some neighbors what the fox's schedule and pattern is and went to get some pictures. I found 3 of the 5 babies (kits), sat on the grass and took some pictures. They knew I was there and kept on checking me out. And I kept on checking for mamma.

Great shots Brad. Those little kits are really cute. They seem more curious than anything.

Chris, it was very cool to sit and watch them. I was not able to move around so I did not take any video, but it would have been fun to watch. If I was sitting there and mother returned, I am not sure what she would have done.

Cool shots, Brad. I have to hide behind a curtain to get pics of the foxes that come into our yard. If they catch any movement whatsoever, they're gone. These little guys don't seem camera shy at all.
