I'm very late getting started with my fundraising for Seek the Peak this year. I'm planning on a couple of new ideas to boost the donations though so hopefully will catch up. This one fell into my lap the week and hopefully will get things rolling.
A friend at work has a bunch of new hiking boots that he's purchased and never worn. I'd try to explain why, but you'd have to know Mike to understand. He's now bringing in one or two pairs a week and giving them away to anyone who wants them. I was the recipient of a new pair of Koflach Arctis Vario plastic winter mountaineering boots, size 9-1/2. The are actually not a bad fit for me (which means they run a bit large since I'm a size 10). I was going to keep them but realized that I won't be able to put them to good enough use. So I decide to do this instead.
Anyone who wants them can have them by making a $100 donation to my Seek the Peak campaign. I will pay the shipping charges to have them delivered to you. These boots had an original list price of $360 so it's a good deal for you and nice donation to a great cause. PM with your shipping address if you are interested and I'll confirm that you are the first taker and you can then make the donation on my STP page.
