...I think . This looks like a two year old of the same size and the antlers are what I expect Richard's to look like right now.

Here he is yesterday, taking a rest (yes, I was also laying down)...




and last autumn, when he was definately a yearling...

Very nice Patrick. Like KathyC asked, do you know what that black spot is and why he's loosing his fur?

Thanks! He is molting, or losing his winter coat. This is a very typical pattern. The black area is skin covered by a very fine layer of fur...the summer coat.

Many birds will gather the fur to line their nests.
