I can think of a few trails up the rock pile where few people will be. Just have to hike few extra miles. Nelson Crag, Chandler brook, or Wamsuetta. Problem is you have to make sure you are down in enough time to make the after the climb party. It will be a busy day on Tucks especially if it is a blue bird day.

thats why we hit the trail very early so we dont run into to many people , or until i slow the group enough then all the people pass us lol

To avoid crowded trails, consider starting your hike the night before, and arriving at the hermit shelters around 9 or 10, then hit the trail by 7am

because i go so slow i can say hi to all the people passing me ,this also helps them out because they are passing some one and they thing they are doing good hiking
