First day of Snow Contest

The rules are:

1. Select the day when the daily F6 report shows 2.0" or more of snow for that date.

2. There can only be one entry for a day. Whoever gets their post in first has that date.

3. If your date has past and there has not been 2.0" or more of snow, you are out - in the cold.

4. You may only enter once.

5. If you work for a company that alters the weather, makes snow over 6,000 feet, or can move mountains to be under snow clouds - you are not allowed to enter.

6. The winner gets to make a huge snowman at the base of Tuckerman Headwall by themselves.

I don't work for a company that does that. My snow making, mountain moving machine is home made so I was still in. Until today, I couldn't get the final part I needed because of the holiday. Maybe next year.

Next year the rules could be slightly different. But, we do know for this year - you are out. Rich has today and tomorrow according to the rules. But, he also has beautiful non-snow weather days. Does Breeze have a chance as we approach the weekend storm?

Ohhhhhhh and while we're at it please form some nice climbable ice in Huntington's by say Dec 15ish as that looks like my "weekend trip" this year.... hoping to go up Yale Gully if I can get somebody to tie a rope with, or south gully if solo..............but probably way to early for the ice to form?
