Loop Hike to Mt. Lafayette
It has been awhile since I've posted on this Forum. I know that it's unnecessary to provide any explanation. Nonetheless, I'll simply say that my time has been limited, and so I've had to put some self-imposed limits on where I post and how often.
With no further ado, here is a brief report about a recent loop hike that my friend Marty & I did to Mt. Lafayette. We ascended via the Skookumchuck Trail, and then we hiked the Garfield Ridge Trail to the top of Mt. Lafayette. To complete the loop, we descended via the Greenleaf Trail to the car that we had spotted at the Cannon Tram parking lot.
Despite a weather forecast to the contrary, there were hazy & overcast conditions which made for some unimpressive photos of distant vistas. But, there's nothing wrong with vistas that are not so distant!And so, the snapshots below consist mostly of scenes where the haze was less of a factor.
