I agree with the others on missing your TRs and pictures John. Hopefully it's just been that you're too busy to post and not too busy to hike. I really like this one. Leave it to you to take one of the most popular places in the Whites and do it via the road less traveled. Franconia Ridge is one of my favorite places on earth (and Doug is right about the stretch of the Garfield Ridge trail). Definitely going to have to use this route for a future visit. Thanks for taking us along and welcome back!
