Classroom weather forecasting
Found this interesting article about classroom weather forecasting from a teacher over in the UK.

The Weather Studio page is pretty cool too

drag and drop the icons onto the map to create a weather map (only European maps though)
The Google Earth weather map is pretty cool too, same idea, drag and drop the icons on the map, then hit "Present the forecast" in the lower left (it does the 3d fly in with all the weather icons plotted) http://www.watbot.co.uk/ria/wxforecast/
