Check out this place in Providence. The menu looks interesting. Mid-way for the eastern Mass folks and CT. Might still be okay for NY/NJ.

We've been to Trinity several times. Great food. Parking in PVD and getting around can be a bit of a bother but shouldn't be too bad on a Sunday. I'm still contemplating other RI spots to suggest. One that is very good and very easy access to I-95 is this one (it's also only 2 miles from my house).

Only thing is it's kind of pricey for dinner. Lunch is more reasonable but Sunday is just brunch and then dinner.

There is also an Outback Steak House and a Texas Roadhouse (Barbecue) right off the same exit which would be cheaper alternatives.

The only thing I'm not sure about with all these locations is if they're going to be amenable to folks hanging out after dinner. I suppose as long as we're still buying drinks. But then people do still have to drive...

1149 looks interesting. The last time I was in that area there was nothing at that exit. We considered it the cut-off from I-95 to get over to East Greenwich. That is when the cut-off was new.

That was definitely a long time ago Brad. That's been a pretty bustling intersection for quite a long time. In the last 10 years there have been at least 3 (I think 4 actually) restaurants in the 1149 location. This is definitely the best of them.

There's a new British Beer Company opening in Franklin this week. It's right off 495 and parking is not a problem.

Has anybody gave any thought to the casinos in CT.? Never been but I am sure there is plenty of parking and I hear the have a fantastic buffet. I don't gamble but for those who do they can.Just a thought..

Interesting menu. They have Bangers & Mash - so I am up for it. I don't drink. But, that does not matter to me.

The location is not as good for NY and NJ but we might want to plan a gathering in NJ in February anyway.

I've never eaten at Chandlers, but am fully aware of Yankee Candle in Deerfield Mass. I think I helped with someones kids college fund back in October...

Mystic is beautiful, Love GO Fish right by the Aquarium and it's right off of 95. Old Mystic Village is right outside the door, lots of little shops to go into and nice way to spend an afternoon. Go Fish has a really pretty front room for a gathering, very New England decor to me. The BEST Chowder I've ever had and I think average prices. I stop there every time I am in the area.

And Mystic is just a few miles from the casino's. Not sure if I could make a Sunday, but who knows.
