Double-digits on Mt. Willey

I bagged my 10th peak today on Mount Willey via Ethan Pond Trail - Willey Range Trail and back. It looked like it would be a viewless hike, but I'll let you see the photos for yourself...The weather was great. A little bit of wind at the summit, but it was all worth it.

Very nice TR. I find it so incredible hiking after a fresh snow and viewing it ontop of the evergreens. It really is beautiful.

It was certainly a great day for a hike. I like your philosophy "never under estimate a 4000 footer." Or any mountain for that matter.

I just knew after the last one that double digits wasn't far off - and you made it a good one. The pictures do indeed speak for themselves (but really enjoyed reading the report too). Willey is one that we don't have yet and after seeing this I'm pretty sure that we want to get it in winter. Thanks for sharing another great day in the mountains!

Thank you all for your comments! The snow was great. Now I'm thinking I want to do the rest of the list in the winter, haha...if only I had the time.
Like any day in the Whites, it didn't fail to impress.

It defintley was a good day for a hike, I was over on Adams ( via King Ravine ) that day and great weather for winter climbing, a little socked in above treeline but there were some breaks in the clouds

Did you make it to the summit, Tim? We had a nice view of the Presidentials...looks like you would have had a nice view if you made it above the clouds. Any pictures?
