As yesterday's clouds broke up in the late afternoon, some remarkable lenticulars (I think... it's been a long time since I was an intern at the summit) formed. The cloud deck paralleled the entire range for as far as I could see from my vantage point as if to make a new range higher in the clouds. Even higher above the lenticulars some sort of cumulii were doing the same thing, but in a less pronounced fashion.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching these clouds break down and turn into a beautiful bluebird finish to a cloudy day spent skiing in the fog. My only regret was leaving my remote timer at home today so I could take some time lapses :/
