After several abandoned attempts due to bad weather in the last few weeks it was nice to be able to get to a summit for a change
Lowes Path was well packed out to Gray Knob cabin but only a father and son team had gone before us to Adams above there.
The wind howled but the cloud cover broke up as the day wore on, unfortunately the best clearing of Adams summit was about 20 minutes after we left. It was not a day to be hanging around a summit though.
Great views of the undercast to the north and a huge lenticular over Washington.
