    Default Need location of parking and trailhead.

    Hello im in need of a parking and trailhead tip. im climbing mount monroe sat 4-2 and i dont know where to park. this is a link of the cog railway area if anyone could point me to where i need to park i would be greatful. also is there a parking fee and if so where do i pay??

    There are two locations where you can park for the Ammo trail. The official USFS hiker parking is the one on the left (labeled Ammo Shuttle Stop). You can also park at Marshfield Station (noted on the map) and there is a trail from there that joins Ammo. When the cog is running there is a parking fee. It doesn't open until 4/30 though so I believe that you're OK parking there at no cost. The USFS hiker lot requires a parking pass which can be paid by self-pay envelope at the lot ($3.00 per day).
