Default Two Hikes in the Area of Jackson, NH

This past Sunday (03-Apr-2011) I did two hikes in the area of Jackson, NH.

Hike 1: Hall's Ledge (reached by starting at the trailhead on Route 16)
Shown below is one of the snapshots taken during this hike.

Hike 2: Black Mountain (reached by starting at the trailhead on Melloon Road, which is a side road off the Carter Notch Road).

Wonderful photos, John! I love the pic from Hall's Ledge. The snow cap on the presidentials is so crisp!

I love Jackson, NH too! It's a great area. I hope to one day retire there!

    Thanks,
    Karl

Great stuff John! What a wonderful time of year. Still plenty of snow, waters starting to rise, skies still winter crystal blue. Awesome. Leave it to you to find such a great way to use not just one but two hikes to turn all that great potential into a perfect day. The wanders to unfamiliar spots are great as always. The views are spectacular. Thanks for another great tour.
