    Welcome to the forums Alex. Like Kathy said, there's a great group of people here with a lot of experience on hiking, weather, photography, etc. If you're interested, check out some of the events we hold. Blue Hill Observatory on June 5th, and the all time big one, Seek the Peak July 22nd & 23rd. You are more than welcome to attend.

    Yes welcome to the forum. Everything they said and of course there are a few us here that also wear kilts to hike. There really is a bunch of terrific people on here. I learnt alot from here prior to my hiking.

    Welcome Alex!And don't worry about the guys in kilts they're all really nice!They just need a tan on those legs!!!
