Today was the latest in our series of get-togethers with MWOBS forum members and it was the best so far. The Blue Hill Observatory - our "sister New England weather observatory" in Milton, MA - was kind enough to host us today. Don McCasland organized the day for us and provided a fascinating tour of the oldest weather observatory in the US. Add a bit of hiking, great food and great friends and you have the recipe for a perfect day! Thanks to Don for being such a great host.
Here's the blog post and pictures to recap the day: http://theramblingsblog.blogspot.com...gether-at.html
See you all at Seek the Peak!!

As for the Boston view, if you can find a clearer day we'd like to be there too. We've been at Blue Hills more than a half dozen times in the last couple of years including in winter on days that looked crystal clear and this weekend was the clearest view of Boston yet. Perhaps just the natural city smog/haze.
