Hey folks I busted my collarbone bike training for the ride. We were planning Tucks to Lion's Head. If I get clearance, has anyone done this as tri pod? Don't want to let my team down. Maybe a lower risk route?

I think it's your safest bet. They'll be plenty of folks along the trail to assist if need be. Other trails will be less crowded and somewhat more remote. A turn around on Lion Head gets you back to Hermit Lake and help pretty quickly in the event you need it. Good luck, my guess is you'll be fine!

I agree with Kevin that trail does not have many real narrow spots. It does have some steep and scramble places. But, as you say, there will be plenty of helping hands along the way. Going up the Jewell has very little narrow and not as steep as Lion Head. I would suggest you look at the profile of the Jewell trail as an alternative.
