Default A Few Members of the Kilted Clan Seek the Peak Going Up Ammo and Down Jewell

Seek the Peak 2011 has now come and gone. It was a great event with a lot of fun had by all. A few of us chose to hike up via the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail and the Crawford Path. Then descend via the Gulfside Trail and the Jewell Trail. The weather was near perfect. Below are a few photos from our hike, with more found through the link at the end. Enjoy!

John, Don, Alison and myslef began at 6:30am in the hiker parking lot below the Cog Station.

Here is a view from about halfway up the Crawford Path, looking down on the Lakes of the Clouds hut.

    At the summit.

Lastly, the Kilted Clan gets recognition from Scot Henley as the team who raised the most money, nearly $11,000.

A complete set of photos can be found here. Thanks!
    Bob

Absolutely fantastic pictures Bob! Glad you guys had such a good hike. Cool that you met the Gray Jay welcoming committee on the way down too! Definitely a fantastic day. Can't wait for next year.
