I had asked about this some before and got pretty good info. Any more to be added wouldn't be bad though.

It should be noted that what you saw out the west view cam this morning was not what we consider an undercast. What that was was just plain old valley fog which is wicked easy to forecast for. As far as undercasts go, the thread mentioned is a good place to start since I already described what we look for there.
