Default Mt. Moriah -- Finally back in the Whites!

I finally made it back to the Whites for two days of hiking.

Check out my blog for a report from our first hike up Mt. Moriah (the weather was incredible!)

Great pics Owen! Glad you could get back into the mountains for some hiking in excellent weather. Look forward to seeing day 2. Thanks for sharing.

I never want to see a day
    That's over forty degrees
    I'd rather have it thirty,
Twenty, ten, five and let it freeeeEEEEEEeeze!

Another nice one Owen! We did Moriah by this route last summer and loved it too even though we had a cloudy day and more limited views. I agree about you assessment of the views of the Presis from this angle. Spectacular. August has been kind to us in past years in the Whites too. Back to back bluebird days are always a treat though.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, Mark! Moriah is a really great hike. Reading about it never really did it for me, but when I was on the trail with those views, I was more than happy.
