Timber Rattlesnakes Gone Wild
Fortunately, I saw this pair of Timber Rattlers before I stepped on them. They were in the grassy area just outside the family cabin in Clinton County, PA, an area referred to as the Wilds Of Pennsylvania. It was also fortunate the younger members of the family, the two to six year old children had already left for home. The day prior to this they were all playing right here. Anyway, these two went at it from 8:30 AM to at least 8:30 PM. They could have cared less about us watching. The only time I heard a rattle was when the female wanted to leave. I think I shot about 8GBs of their mating ritual. The product of this union will be born live encased in a thin egg-like membrane. It was fascinating watching these beautiful creatures. I hope the link works. Enjoy.
