Default A Snowy, Pre-Halloween Hike on the AT in PA

My wife and I joined up with Erich and Gloria Rainville for a day hike on the AT in Southern Pennsylvania, following the October Snowstorm. It was an epic day and I must say, I have never seen a more clear or bluer sky than I viewed on Sunday, 30 October. Hope you enjoy the images.

Great pictures Dave! I have to say that #41 is my favorite. Nothing that goes together better than kilts and snow!

All beautiful pictures, I love the way the autumn leaves look against the snow.

I never want to see a day
    That's over forty degrees
    I'd rather have it thirty,
Twenty, ten, five and let it freeeeEEEEEEeeze!

Great pics! Thanks again for being the trail guide for the day. Need to plan an overnight to the shelters up there, and more time to explore the POW camp. Always nice to find these hidden gems you didn't know were practically in your backyard.
