A Short Gallop to White Horse Ledge (North Conway, NH)

Seems there is still some fine foilage colors remaining so late in the season. Great photos! We're still waiting for the leaves to fall here.

Regarding your statement about still waiting for the leaves to fall down your way in Maryland, perhaps they'll still be hanging on when we venture down that way in about a week from now. We'll be making a whirlwind trip to visit relatives in KY, NC and DE.

Hi John, I am actually a dog person, I've had a dog almost my whole life. One lab mix and now I'm on my 3rd Mini Schnauzer (Like Atticus).

This black kitty is my BF's, when he lived in E. Hartfod he took her in as a beat up stray. I am actually allergic to cats, but when he moved here I didn't have the heart not to let her too, we would just see how it went. She's been with us here about 4 years and I've actually become somewhat immune to her, but sometimes they act up. I never thought I'd ever have a cat, but I just love her so much. It surprises me that they also have a personality like a dog, she's loving and playful, amazing for a beat up stray that no one loved.

PS. I believe that in the past you said that you use a piont and shoot camera? If you do and you don't mind sharing, I would like to know what kind, I'm trying to pick out a new one.

Kathy, I'm uncertain if they still manufacture the camera that I use, but it is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1.
