Any guesses when the trails up Mount Washington will be snow-free this hot spring? Looking at the weather report makes me wish I were there now, but I don't go hiking in snow (other than occasional patches).

Trails down low still have patchy ice and snow, especially in the hollows where the sun doesn't reach, but up high it is virtually gone. People have been getting the Northern Presis in microspikes, and some are bare-boot rock hopping. Of course this could change in an hour...
