I haven't been able to see a picture either. If you have it online you could put a link to it's location.

Really weird, because I see the photo clear as day whenever I look at the page. I wonder if some of my other photos didn't show up either. Anyway, I'm trying it as an attachment. Let me know if you can't see this one:

Also, I just tried setting the album in my profile that I uploaded from to "public" rather than "private." I thought those settings only applied to albums when people were viewing them within the profile...

I can see it now, I just don't know where it is. Oddly, I can see it now in the old post as well as attached to the newest post.

So it was having my profile album set to "private" that was the problem! So no one saw the photo of the Matterhorn next to the Hotel Riffelberg or the one of me climbing Charlies Bunion from the bottom, either. Well, you can go back and look at them now if you feel like it.

I'm really surprised no one has taken a shot at this. Anyone with the AMC Maine Mountain Guide map of Baxter can easily get it. But then, maybe I'm confusing folks interested in meteorology with folks interested in geography. A basic knowledge of Maine topography and the elevations of northern Maine is what's needed here. I have to admit that's not the primary focus on this website. Also, another thing I have to admit is that this is an area I've personally explored and am really fond of, but that's no reason to think others would have the same experience.

Should I say where this is or not? (I have a sneaking suspicion a couple folks know already--they figured it out from looking at my blog, but I guess they are too shy to speak up. )

I live in New Zealand and must say it looks very much like our mountains over here
