Hi all,

A warm front will lift north today before stalling out as an area of low pressure and an associated cold front approach for Sunday. The passing warm front today will continue to stream moisture in that will translate into summit fog and light snow through the day. Additionally, milder air will continue to stream in from the west, allowing temperatures to warm into the evening hours. An area of low pressure will then ride east along this stalled front with a cold frontal passage expected early on Sunday. This passing cold front will bring additional snow showers along with the start of another arctic blast for the week ahead. Winds are expected to remain high over the forecast period as very little change in the pressure gradient is expected. Therefore, as temperatures drop tomorrow, wind chills will become dangerously low, with frostbite setting in in as little as 5 minutes by sunset. Therefore, a wind chill advisory will be in effect from sunrise on Sunday and then continue thru the day until the evening hours when a warning will likely take its place heading into the week ahead. New snowfall will be 1 to 3 inches today, 1 to 3 inches overnight, and trace to two inches for Sunday.
