After 16 of 30 days for the month, we're at 4.04 inches so far

With less than 1 week to go, 4.90 inches of precip have been collected in the can.

As a side note, I have not had time to come up with a contest idea for May. If someone can come up with an idea for May and get one started, great. If not, I will definitely be back with one in June.

4.94 was the total. More than a inch less than anyone expected.

With everyone going over this month, there is no winner this month. I think this might be a first.

I may not have won, but I was the closest.

BTW, I'd like to put in my usual objection to the rule of "closest without going over" in that it makes absolutely no sense to me in the scientific aspect and it is completely derived from the notion that the rules of "The Price Is Right" should apply to the rest of life.
