After 2 days of being socked in the fog and clouds, the summit was graced with 15 minutes of sunshine on Tuesday. The monthly total of sunshine has now reached a whooping 109 minutes! With 24 days to go for the month, the summit will hopefully get sunnier days ahead. Have a great Wednesday everyone

Sunshine minutes are starting to stack up on the summit as the summit has now picked up 4035 minutes for the month. With 12 days left to go for the month, hopefully there will be more sunshine and less clouds!

A couple more days have past by, and the total sunshine minutes has gone up some more. The summit now stands at 5393 minutes. There are still 8 days left, and hopefully a few days of full sunshine will get us close to some of the numbers guested. Here are the guesses for the month:

    9217 minutes - tdb1977
    9714 minutes - sdways01
    9999 minutes - whitemtnvisitor

With 2 days remaining and the count only at 6768 so far, I think it's safe to say it's in the bag for tdb1977

And I'm surprised no one has gone up to the summit looking for the couple of fog machines that I hid around the summit. Now I just need to get them back so I don't get charge an extra fee since I rented them for the month

Those fog machines would explain the spike in electricity usage the Obs couldn't figure out.

HAHAHA! Hope the spike in electricity didn't cause any problems with the budget.

Anyway, with 7466 minutes of sunshine for the month of May - I declare the winner to be, well, me with a guess of 9217 minutes. Just a hair outside on that guess. Thanks everyone for participating in the May contest. June has already begun. Watch for a special contest coming up here in a week, where I will post full details! This one is going to be GOOD, I promise!
