On Saturday morning just before sunrise I saw a moose on the Kanc also. There is the first rise - then a flat area. S/he had just crossed the road and was in the woods on the south side of the road. S/he was moving right along as I slowed down - but, I did not stop to get the camera out of the back of the car and take pictures. I did not think the moose would have stayed around as long as yours did for me to take pictures. Now I wish I had tried.
