Pictures from Kancamangus Highway 4/7/07

On Saturday I drove from Maine - to Conway, NH - across the Kanc to Lincoln, NH - to Chester Depot, VT - Washington, DC - and then to NC. I seemed to be stopping to take pictures along the kanc more than i was driving. It was so nice out there in the early morning light as the sun was starting to come up.

I agree, very nice stuff. I particularly like some of the water shots. MAinly I like that you didn't drag out the shutter speed on some of that moving water to give that gliding, moving, blurry water that I see all too often. This looks crisp, yet there is no doubt of the movement in that water.

Yes, that is one of my favorites too. the tree tops are so smooth and regular. I have not spent any time identifying the peaks. I did label that 3144 image - thanks.

I just got time to check these out. Outstanding, some real beauties! The one labeled as Mount Osceola I'm pretty sure is Mt. Kancamagus, no harm done. Those are some of my favorites, too. Beautiful shots at any rate. There's a for sale sign in front of one of the stone houses in Chester, how much?

$499,000 is the listing price. My mother grew up in 2 houses down the road in another stone house. I would love to go in and take pictures!
