Default Mount Washington from the West???

Does anybody have information on trail conditions from Marshfield Station? I'm mainly interested in Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail and Jewell Trail. Has there been any traffic since the storm? I'm interested in hiking this area over the weekend if the conditions allow. Ultimately, Jefferson - Washington - Monroe in either direction is my goal.

Any current trails information would be greatly approciated.

    Thanks,

The snow rangers are suggesting flotation for anything other than Tuckerman Ravine Trail. With 30"+ of new snow you're probably going to need something. I'm guessing somebody will make it up those trails in the next few days, but I doubt they will be packed out.

    Default Ammo Trail

Just took this from viewsfromthetop.com/ 5 days old but still useful.

Trail: Mt Washington via Ammonoosuc and Crawford Path
    Date Hiked: 4/14/07

Conditions: A few down trees before Gem Pool. A foot of fresh snow all the way to Lake fo the Clouds. Above the hut, lots of rime and drifts.

Special Required Equipment: Snowshoes required! Lots-o-powder!

Comments: Broke trail from Monroe Brook to the summit. The whole hike was socked in then became undercast in the late afternoon. Also the winds died down to below 20 mph!

The mountain is in mid-winter shape! Hopefully will be skiing well into May!
