Mt Washington backdrop

Picked up my new truck on friday, and Saturday already put a couple hundred miles on it, tooling around up in the mountains.

Had to take my "cool truck" shot, and I figured the Mt Washington Hotel and the mountain made a perfect backdrop. (better than a shot in a parking lot)

My wife has a 2001 Black Tacoma. It doesn't have the extra cab, though. We've only taken it to the mountains once or twice. Always take my XL7. It has 121000 MIles on it, hers has 41000 and we got them the same year. I think her resale value may be better than mine.

I retired my 1997 Ford Explorer Sport, had 171,950 miles on it.

I'm going to enjoy putting miles on this baby, especially up in the Mount Washington Valley.

I am sorry but I could not resist that post. The truck will be great for hauling and your gear all over the place. I don't think I have ever retired a vehicle with less than 200,000 miles on it. My 2002 Suburban has about 180,000 miles on it and is running well.

Oh I'm sure I will. I had a 1997 Ford Explorer Sport, and besides getting me through 11 moves over the years in 5 states (Vermont, New Hampshire, Texas, Maine, Florida) it's carried my snowboards, my sea kayak, a mountain bike, a beach cruiser bike (my new favorite).

Now it's the joy of buying accessories!
