site load times today?

Earlier today, say around 10 or 11 am the site was kind of laggy but all seems good now!

Well, when it rains it pours (or is it when there is a breeze it gusts?), anyway there was a rise in latency this morning as a result of a bad network cable connection; the cable was replaced shortly after the problem was noticed this am, and the latency cleared up.
