Membership: President's Club

One of the hallmarks of Mount Washington Observatory over the decades is the unyielding spirit of adventure shared by its staff, volunteers, trustees and supporters. This is a truly unique nonprofit cause, built upon the hard work and ingenuity of an adventurous few and nurtured, expanded and guided by people with vision and passion.

The President's Club is one way to demonstrate that passion for this remarkable mountain peak and the important work being done in research and education by the Observatory.

Benefits of Being a President's Club Member

In addition to the full slate of benefits associated with Observatory membership, President's Club members enjoy an even deeper connection to the organization:

• President's Club members participate in a complimentary annual outing, typically held each fall. Recent outings have included trips to the Shoals Marine Laboratory on Maine's Appledore Island; the National Weather Service's Regional Forecast Office in Gray, Maine and the Blue Hill Observatory in Massachusetts.
• Twice each year, President's Club members have the opportunity to participate in a teleconference session with senior Observatory staff to learn about current activities, ask questions and get the "inside scoop" on the business of the Observatory.
