NORTH CONWAY, NH – This summer, Mount Washington Observatory’s Weather Discovery Center will once again present Friday’s Forecast, a fun weather workshop for children ages four to eight. However, kids of all ages are invited!
Each Friday, beginning July 6 and running through August 17, Mount Washington Observatory Outreach Coordinator Michelle Cruz, will lead Friday’s Forecast at
“I had a great time with Friday’s Forecast last summer and I can’t wait to do it again,” says Cruz. “This program will give the younger students the opportunity to learn more about weather through story books and fun weather activities. After the program, kids can enjoy interacting with exhibits in our museum."
Friday’s Forecast is scheduled to complement the performances of the
Mount Washington Observatory’s
Admission is free this summer through sponsorship by Mt. Washington Auto Road and Great Glen Trails and includes entrance to a weather theater, where you can participate in our two-way, live, link with an Observer on staff at the Mount Washington Observatory, and interact with more than 12 fun and informative exhibits related to weather, climate and Mount Washington.
