Over the years, we have come to learn that there is a great deal that can be achieved through partnerships. Mount Washington Observatory is proud to be associated with the companies and organizations described below and we salute each of them for their support.

- L.L.Bean is the Official Outfitter of the Mount Washington Observatory. Our staff proudly wears head-to-toe L.L.Bean outerwear in some of the most extreme conditions on the planet... and we wouldn't have it any other way. Through this partnership, L.L.Bean is able to test new gear in a real-world setting, obtaining valuable information from Observatory staff. In addition to outfitting our crew and testing gear on the summit, L.L.Bean also supports the Observatory's popular webcams, giving thousands of web visitors access to incredible views from the summit and the surrounding area each day. L.L.Bean is also a presenting sponsor of Seek the Peak, the Observatory's annual hike-a-thon.

- Mount Washington Observatory is Subaru's longest standing non-profit partner. Subaru has been an integral part of the Observatory's success over the years and their support continues to have a tremendous impact. Subaru's support helps fund out traveling outreach programs, bringing the science of weather and climate to classrooms around the region. Subaru has been a presenting sponsor of Seek the Peak, the Observatory's annual hike-a-thon, since its inception in 2001. Subaru is also the title sponsor of the Subaru Science in the Mountains Series, a summer educational series at the Observatory's Weather Discovery Center in North Conway. Mount Washington Observatory staff can be seen traveling around the region in any of three fully-wrapped Subaru vehicles.

- Our newest corporate sponsor, Stoko Skin Care sought to test innovative skin care products aimed at those who work in extreme environments. What better place than Mount Washington! Stoko Skin care's support helps fund our mountaintop weather station and our staff provides vital testing information for product development.

- Health and wellness of employees is an important area for any company to focus on. It's especially true for an organization that faces the demands of the non-profit world and the forces of Mother Nature. In 2008, Cranmore joined in support of the Observatory by offering free Cranmore Family Fitness Center memberships to all of our full-time employees.

- The Observatory's Mount Washington Regional MesoNet began to take shape after Trango Broadband Wireless made a tremendous in-kind contribution of wireless networking equipment to the Observatory in 2007. Now, remote instrument clusters have been deployed at high-elevation locations around the White Mountains, on ski area summits and at some of the Appalachian Mountain Club's high-elevation huts. These sites, connected wirelessly utilizing Trango Broadband Wireless equipment, now provide the Observatory with a unique look at the atmosphere on a horizontal scale.

- Mount Washington meteorologist Brian Clark regularly blogs on AccuWeather.com from one of the most incredible meteorological locations in the world, the summit of Mount Washington. His description of life on the summit and the work of the Observatory is read by thousands of people each week at AccuWeather.com and brings the Observatory to a national audience of weather fans.

- Our friends at the Mt. Washington Auto Road and Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center are very important partners to the Mount Washington Observatory. In addition to sharing a maintenance facility at the base of the mountain, the Auto Road has sponsored free admission to the Observatory's Weather Discovery Center for summer visitors since 2006.

- There is no greater resource for promoting tourism in the North Conway area than the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber works tirelessly to promote our incredible region, drawing visitors from across the nation and around the world to the region's ski areas, restaurants, lodging facilities, shops and attractions. Together with the Chamber and the Mount Washington Radio Group, the Observatory helps produce Mount Washington Valley Visitor Information Radio, which can be found at 95.3 FM in the greater North Conway area.

- For many years, the Eastern Mountain Sports Climbing School has helped adventurous outdoor enthusiasts literally reach new heights. The EMS Climbing School leads several winter climbing groups to the Observatory each year and offers fall, winter and spring visitors to the Weather Discovery Center free admission through their sponsorship support.
