Have you taken a great digital photo during a recent visit to Mount Washington or the White Mountains? If so, it could be featured in our online Photo Journal, along with a credit to the photographer.

Submitting a photo is easy: just fill out the form below.

Images taken within the last week are preferred

Photo Submission Details

All images should be JPEG (.jpg) files, no larger than 10MB, at web resolution (72 dpi). All other photo or file formats will not be accepted. Scans of recent photos are acceptable as well, following the same guidelines as digital photos. Please send one photo at a time and be sure to include a description of where and when the picture was taken.

Mount Washington Observatory has the discretion to use or discard any of the photos that are submitted. All digital photos will be evaluated by Observatory staff and then formatted for use on the Internet.

Mount Washington Observatory has the right to use any submitted photograph for use in both print and web media. Where applicable, a photographer credit will be included.

Mount Washington Observatory does not purchase photos for use on the website. Sorry, slides or prints sent through the mail will not be accepted.
