Orders are generally processed and shipped within 2 business days of payment.
During the Holiday season we endeavor to turn orders around as quickly as possible,
usually within 24 hours of payment.

Orders over 1 pound are shipped USPS Priority Mail.
(3-4 business days to most US locations.)
Some orders under 1 pound may be shipped USPS First Class Mail.

Shipping Restrictions:
Priority Mail is not available to APO/FPO locations, AK, HI, PR, USVI, Guam, all US protectorates. For these addresses all orders will be shipped as USPS 1st Class postal mail or Parcel Post. Shipping time to addresses outside the continental United States will vary.
UPS & FedEx by special arrangement.
International Orders:
The Mount Washington Observatory welcomes all international orders; please contact us by phone to place your order. Surface mail to for foreign addresses can take as much as 8 weeks or more. Any import duties or fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be levied upon entry into the destination country. It is the customer's responsibility to check with their respective countries customs office for any duties, taxes, fees, or restricted items.
Note: All parcels sent to foreign destinations must list contents and prices, our law requires that we provide this information. If you are sending this as a gift keep in mind that this information will be listed on outside of parcel.
Please note: Due to lack of customer support from Visa and MasterCard, we cannot accept these forms of payment for shipping to any locations outside the United States. Payment for any such orders must be by check or money order. After the check or money order has been fully processed, the requested merchandise will be shipped.
